Brian Waldorf has tuned and serviced pianos since 2017, beginning while serving in the U.S. Army. After retiring and relocating to Tampa Bay, he established Waldorf Piano Tuning LLC to provide professional piano service throughout Pinellas County and the surrounding area.
My approach is straightforward: inspect the piano, explain what it realistically needs, and provide clear options based on the instrument, your goals, and your budget.

Pricing & What to Expect
My standard piano tuning fee is $150. Every first visit includes an inspection of the piano’s overall condition, pitch, and playability, followed by a standard tuning when appropriate. If the piano requires pitch correction, repairs, cleaning, or additional service, I’ll explain the findings and confirm any additional cost before proceeding.
STANDARD PIANO TUNING
Inspection and routine tuning in one visit
A focused service appointment for pianos that need routine tuning and a general condition check. I’ll evaluate the piano’s pitch and playability, complete a standard tuning when appropriate, and explain any additional recommendations before proceeding.
Price: $150| Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Comprehensive Piano Service
Tuning, pitch correction, cleaning, and minor adjustments in one visit
A 2.5-hour service visit for pianos that need more than a standard tuning. Includes tuning, pitch correction if needed, light interior cleaning, and minor action adjustments as time allows. Larger repairs, deep cleaning, or full regulation are quoted separately.
Price: $275 | Duration: 2 hr 30 min
